Cardiac Trials

Have you had a heart attack or stent inserted in the past 5 years

The purpose of this trial is to establish the level of Lipoprotein(a) in your blood. High levels of Lp(a) are directly associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks or aortic stenosis. The study requires one in-person visit to one of our research sites to confirm that you are eligible to participate and to perform a blood test. If you are eligible and choose to participate in the trial, there will be no cost to you and your travel expenses will be reimbursed. Participants who are enrolled in this study may be invited to participate in future studies aiming to reduce Lp(a) levels.
